In Equestrianism, there are two parts that make a whole: the horse and the rider.  Like yin and yang, even if one side is balanced, a disharmony within the other side will cause the whole unit to falter. In order to have effortless connection and communication between horse and rider, both parties must be in balance.

Aequus Therapy is a full equestrian health and wellness service, founded by Larissa Whitney Cox. By observing the conformation and physiology of both the horse and the person, as well as the fit of equipment being used, the whole picture  of the equestrian pair is brought into focus.  Through services such as massage, laser therapy, and nutritional analysis, the horse can achieve better wellness; saddle fitting and bit and bridle fitting can yield more balanced equipment; and energy healing, massage, and Rider Re-Balance mounted sessions, can allow for a more balanced, calm and focused rider.

Whether you are a competition rider looking to achieve your performance goals, or a pleasure rider looking to achieve a more harmonious connection with your equine partner, Aequus Therapy can help. Please look at our services offered under the "Horse Therapy", "Rider Therapy", or the "Saddle Fitting" tab above to get a broader view of how each can benefit you and your horse, as well as the "Treatment Add-Ons" tab, to see how these services can be combined in a comprehensive treatment plan to fit your performance and wellness goals.
